Corrects hot-start calibration on supported diesel ECUs to improve cranking and starting when the engine is warm.
Professional service scope
Warm cranking speed, pressure, temperature and injector evidence are reviewed before file work.
The correction follows the identified diesel ECU and software rather than a generic hot-start change.
Acceptance testing recreates the original engine temperature and time-after-shutdown condition.
A software-specific hot-start correction for supported diesel ECUs exhibiting diagnosed warm-engine cranking or restart behaviour after heat soak.
TuningSuite verifies the ECU and software identity, preserves the reported hot operating condition and applies only a compatible start strategy. Unknown variants remain in the manual support path.
The uploaded binary and software identifiers determine compatibility.
Unverified matches are never presented as an automatic solution.
Unsupported files can continue through the central support workflow.
Record coolant and fuel temperatures, cranking speed, battery voltage, rail pressure build-up, injector correction values and the time since engine shutdown. Starter, battery, compression, injectors and pressure regulation must be diagnosed.
A hot-start calibration does not repair worn injectors, low compression, slow cranking or fuel-pressure leakage. It must be tested at the temperature and heat-soak period that originally produced the issue.
